Started by Corrine and Harvey Weinberg eleven years ago, this family-owned New York City company has grown to include over 270 designs of decorative hardware that a renowned decorating editor referred to as “sophisticated elegance.” Corrine’s background is that of a well-known Manhattan sculptor of bronze cast women (the flappers) of the art deco twenties, and included in this wide-ranging NRM collection are 16 flapper knobs plus some matching hooks. All copyrighted and handmade in the U.S. of a lead free fine jewelers metal, they’re offered in a museum quality patina of antique bronze or antique pewter and unconditionally guaranteed for quality. The manufacturing must be in the U.S. for quality control along with fast turnaround and our products must be lead-free because kids touch knobs and put their hands in their mouths. Additionally, our products must be sturdy with our own exclusive insert cast in the post of every knob to prevent stripping when tightened. Furthermore, each and every knob, pull or hook passes three inspections before a shipment is considered ready. Personally, I don’t appreciate inferior workmanship with anything I purchase, and nothing will ever leave here with my name on it that doesn’t rate our approval.
